Immediate part-time opening for Occupational Therapist for our home-based primary care team. Position will work 20 hours per week.

Qualifications: Must be U.S. citizen and possess BS or higher degree in occupational therapy and certification requirements with at least 1 year professional experience, home care preferred. Must possess a current, valid driver's license. Applicant should be flexible and have strong interpersonal skills.

Christiana Hospital is a Level I trauma unit, offers a full range of rehabilitation services for inpatients including the Adult, Pediatric and Geriatric populations. Christiana also has a stroke unit which is the large referral source for our 41-bed rehabilitation unit at Wilmington Hospital.

Wilmington Hospital is an acute care hospital which has the specialty units of the Joint Replacement Center and the Center for Rehabilitation.

Wilmington Hospital’s Center for Rehabilitation is unique in that it has the area’s only “Easy Street” environment - a system of specifically designed activities to simulate the challenges patients will face in their everyday lives.

Riverside Transitional Care facility, located in Wilmington, is the sub acute component of Christiana Care Health System. At Riverside, therapists work as a close knit team to transition the majority of the patients back to their homes. As an Occupational Therapist with Christiana Care, you will have the opportunity to work in an acute care, rehab and sub acute rehab as well as outpatient settings that includes, stroke and other neurologic disorders, geriatrics, trauma, orthopaedics, oncology and general medical/surgical patients and pediatrics.

Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a current DE license and registered with the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
