Annual Conference

Our May 8th DOTA annual conference at Polytech is shaping up to be one of our best! Conference details are posted on www.dotaonline.org, or contact Molly McGinty at mollymcgintyotr@hotmail.com or call her at 302-430-5964 for more information.

Continuing Education

If you know of any continuing education opportunities for occupational therapy practitioners, please share them with our membership. We will post them in the newsletter ASAP. At this time, the Delaware Board of OT does not sell names and addresses of licensees, and providers of continuing education cannot easily reach OT practitioners. Our own association has only 5 members who have given written consent to give their information to vendors, so we are not selling members’ information at this time. Information about continuing education can be sent to rosemarycalvert@yahoo.com or please call me at 302-239-4259.

Website

Our website has been updated again, as we move closer to becoming a fully handicapped accessible site. Please feel free to send recommendations and criticisms to me at RosemaryCalvert@yahoo.com

We will be adding a valuable link for DATI (Delaware Assistive Technology Initiative). See http://www.dati.org/ Of great interest is the provider information for services in Delaware, as well as the loaner department at Easter Seals. AT funding information is also provided. This includes home/office modification issues. The events calendar offers many opportunities for continuing education.
