The “fourth trimester” refers to the first 12 weeks after birth—a time of significant physical, emotional, and lifestyle adjustment as birthing individuals recover. Through a multidisciplinary approach, we are proud to provide comprehensive support during this critical transition.
Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) play an essential role in postpartum recovery. Together, we help patients safely rebuild strength, mobility, endurance, and independence after delivery. Our teams provide education on pain management, body mechanics, positioning, posture, and strategies to protect healing tissues as patients return to meaningful daily activities.
